Mutual Oil’s full-service transportation division is committed to
delivering the products our customers need efficiently, safely and
cost-competitively. Our fleet of 14 transports source from 16
terminals and deliver throughout New England 24 hours a day - 7 days
a week - 365 days a year. Our in-house dispatching group manages
every delivery from the initial order to the scheduling of the load
allowing Mutual the ability to maintain control of the system and
provide our customers with peace of mind that they will receive their order when they expect it.
A critical component of a well-run transportation division is having
the right drivers represent the company. Each of our drivers
holds the appropriate DOT and Hazmat licenses and goes through an
extensive training program which includes a background check and drug
testing.
Our trucks are all equipped with on-board computer's giving
us multiple capabilities:
• Real-time GPS of truck's location
• Truck diagnostics for maintenance and repairs
• Assisting with DOT compliance including driver
logs and road taxes
• BOL and invoice accounting
Additional services include:
• Inventory Management - have us manage your inventory
so you can focus on the other aspects of your business.
• Transportation only - Mutual is the transportation
arm for several high-volume, multi-site jobbers.
